Kenji, when shooting fireworks, you focus to infinity right?

Erm and I just dunno when to press the shutter cuz it's about 10s+- and i dunno when the firework will be fired. Just try and error?

focus doesn't matter, cause everything will be in focus with 10s shutter. but i just use autofocus at any building hehe.

when i see the fireworks coming up, start shooting. after 10s finish then shoot again immediately. but a bit weird, my D90 quite slow to write if the shutter is more than 10s even using the sandisk extreme III 30mb/s. have to wait Job nr like a few seconds.

ahhhhh~ D90 replacement faster out~ i beh tahan waiting for it >_<

you turned on long exposure NR right? If im not mistaken it'll need sometime to process. ic... thanks for the tips =D

10s shot -> 10s of noise reduction if not mistaken :S.

oh yeah lol forgot about that. thanks! is it necessary to have NR ah? hmm..

my free tripod, digieye tr-38 lol. it sucks, but if there's no wind, it's ok

using remote shutter release kah ??

ps: i know i will definitely shake the camera without remote shutter release in that situation...

using IR remote. you can get 1 cheap for around RM30 or less. non nikon brand la. but still works well. salt water went into my remote before and it's still working haha. maybe should get another 1 as spare.

I dunno where can get nice view of fireworks... and no personal transport is the saddest T__T

i also dunno if this year fireworks gonna be in putrajaya or dataran merdeka or klcc =/

they want to increase the profit.. haha... as long they have stock, push the margin as they can
