gimmick kot... they probably want to push up the price before new model coming out. this hearsay always a marketing strategy to clear old stock and probably they have lots of it... if the price increase i go for D5000 or D300S.. or move to Canon or Sony.

u mean ise pic?....its quite obvious at the bottom edge of the bridge...u can see purple fringing at the border of the white part...that is CA
|

Nothing else to do, decided to test the VR of my 70-200vr2  Wicked sharp even at 1/20seconds, 200mm F/2.8 handheld, very much impressed

i dun understand why people wanna save on the VC/VR/IS
they manufacturer put those VC/VR/IS in for a reason, it helps u take better picture when in low light conditions, if can't afford it right now then save up for it la...no point getting the cheap version without VC then take lousy pic ...

From what I've read on the web, a replacement for D90 is coming.
Supposedly it's called D7000.

make sense also as celz pointed out they gonna make keep 4 digit as entry level, 3 digit as semi-pro and 1 digit as pro bodies

when in low light u need to lower your shutter speed, VC helps in stabilizing the exposure from handshakes , unless you are born with SSH, always get VC/VR/IS version of lens
