Hi guys,

I am currently looking for good LED downlights. Few years ago I used LED downlights from YetPlus, bought 25 units, each cost RM 89 with  1 year warranty, but they were so bad that each month I had to go to the shop to get replacement. After 1 year I decided to change all my lightings with normal energy saving bulbs.
Now I am moving to a new place, and due to bad experience with LED downlights, I was planning to use normal energy saving lights, but every shop that I visited told me that now everyone is using LED downlights and noone is using normal energy saving lighting anymore. So I start to think that I should use LED downlights again, but I am not sure which brand is good. So far I have been offered by 2 shops:
- Tong Ging : Epistar, from Taiwan, RM 69, with 3 years warranty
- House of lightings : GE, RM 79, 2 years warranty, they said this is their best quality LED downlights

Anyone has experience using these 2 brands, or any other better recommendation?

Need opinion and recommendations from you guy here. I m going to furnishing the lighting for a 900+ sf condo with warm white 2700K lighting.
1) Will the color tone (2700K) make the whole house looked yellowlish? Any sample photo for how it will look like or any software / app can have demo for these?
2) Should I go for 4' or 6' (planning furnishing each area with 4 downlight)? I am planning to get Philips Slimlit downlight either 4' or 6' (mostly will go for 6' as afraid not bright enuf but would need opinion from you guy before proceed).
3) I need around 40 units of the downlight i.e. Philips Slimlit Square 6' Warm White 2700K (might have changes after taking expert's opinion on my queries as above), appreciate if anyone can quote me or recommend me some shops offer good pricing. Thanks a lot.

Did you have any experience using GE LED downlights?
The 3 year warranty from Epistar is quite attractive, so a bit undecisive because of that

Any idea where can I get the LED T5 14W 4000k?Prefer online purchase or Melaka..

Use on what? makse sure after put on the adaptor, the light doesnt extrude out and touch anything.
