QUOTE(brutus @ Feb 6 2025, 03:19 PM) using this 5inci 1 room have 4 light QUOTE(noien @ Feb 6 2025, 07:10 AM) Easiest step is just remove it and let it empty. if cutoff 2 light ... still bright Or change to smart led where u can control with WiFi. Some smart led bulb can control colour brightness thru app This post has been edited by sleyer: Feb 6 2025, 06:54 PM |

QUOTE(jimbet1337 @ Feb 7 2025, 08:58 AM) If bedrooms. Consider low Kelvin rating. Higher ones are harsh. Especially at night. tq for share this also my final solution if ceiling light can't Modifyhttps://oakandgrainrefinishing.com/understa...signing-spaces/ ![]() I use 4 x 3000K 6" Philips Meson square downlight for my bedroom. 1 switch controls a pair. I normally just turn on a pair and seldom use both pairs https://www.cimalighting.com.my/philips/phi...465-6-17w-59467 ![]() However, I turned them off completely post 9pm and use auxiliary Ikea Tagarp placed next to my bed. 2 sets of bulb give me selection flexibility for low lumens bulb. ![]() This setup suits my usage pattern and kinda works for me. It may not suits you but I'm just sharing. I realize the downlight can't do much so I need some auxiliary lighting. Downlight with adjustable brightness could work for you though. |

QUOTE(brutus @ Feb 9 2025, 10:00 PM) Without knowing the original specifications, not easy to advise you what to get. if 5" 13wtt and my bedroom have 4 unit.. its really bright PHILIPS very standard: 5" = 13W/900lm 6" = 17W/1200lm 8" = 24W/1750lm The newer series comes with IO (interlaced optics) which reduces glare. Daylight (6500K) in my opinion not suitable for bedroom. Go for neutral white (4000K) or if you can take it got for warm white (3000K). any model lumen or whatt below 5watt? also i found some dimmer film can reduce half lumen |
