ciao experts..

i went to a local lighting shop (melaka),
and enquired about downlights to be installed
on my existing plaster ceiling.

but the guy there asked back-how long
has the plaster ceiling has been installed,
as he said that if the plaster ceiling is already
more than 2yrs old (in my case, 6yrs old)
then the plaster is already 'very hard' which means
that they cannot guarantee workmanship
(hard to make a hole on a 6yrs old plaster ceiling).

otherwise, for newly-installed plaster ceiling
it's more easier to make a hole and place the
downlights.

anybody have any experience/know about this?
