Ah ha, seems I got confused. I didn't even remember Amazon had an expedited.

I only go priority or standard tongue.gif Expedited makes no difference. I've tried it before.

My bad.

WHAT? my standard shipping less than 10 days

Yes, standard shipping is less than 10 days unless customs grabs and holds onto the shipments.

Pan's Labyrinth the UK version has a better transfer.

Not all US versions are better.

Anyone here receiving defective blu-rays from Amazon? I've gotten 5 so far.

Just complained about Ondine. It arrived, refused to work.

Now they're sending a replacement. Real hassle.

Takes too long to load and sometimes it doesn't load at all. Freezes every couple of minutes. Sometimes it just stops during play back.I test the disc with other blu-ray players to confirm there's an issue before contacting Amazon.

That is strange!  blink.gif  I never experience that.

Yeah, now I have a phobia. I get worried if the disc takes too long to load.

Every blu-ray I get, I test immediately.

hmm.gif  Now UK also release it own version of A Bug's Life.  Those think US version too expensive, can consider UK version for £12.59 now.

Got the US versions when it went on sale the last time.

UK region with region B = Is it block ???

If your blu-ray player isn't region free, or region changing, then you won't be able to play region b locked disc. The default players here are region a.

I test every blu-ray I get as well, don't want to find out the disc have problem when I want to watch it

At first I didn't, I thought there would be no issues. So collect and collect, suddenly one day you try to watch and find out the disc doesn't work. Then you gotta figure out where you got the disc from, etc and try to get a replacement.

I've got about 300 blu-rays. Only those 5 or so are defective.

All steps taken Terranova. I'm guessing just defective blu-rays. Thanks for the suggestions though. Was just wondering if anyone else had the same issues.

Others that have nothing constructive to say about this matter, I suggest you keep your comments to yourself and move on. The rest, thank you for your time and advise.

Very strange because unlike dvd, bds are manufactured more robust and almost problem-free. If it is not player/lens problem... and not because of bd-live connectivity, how about heat maybe? those discs might be stored at a very high temperature place? i don't know, just guessing. seems strange though....  hmm.gif
*
Ghostbusters arrived smelling like it was left in the hot sun for several hours. The case was all soft. Heat was probably the cause there.

The rest, just defective I'm guessing. Some are just a problem with the 1st disc, 2nd disc plays well. So you can confirm it's a 1st disc issue smile.gif

hmm just sent an email to Amazon UK about the unsealed BD, well I don't really mind it being unsealed was just curious about it. Their customer service replied that they will re-send the item to me so I'll have to send back the item I received back to them. Wondering if I should do this or just tell them it's ok haha, coz have to wait for the BD to arrive again lol
*
I suppose as long as the BD plays, it shouldn't be an issue. Unless it really looks used, etc.

That's a sweet deal, most of those titles border at a price close to $20 each except one.
