1:1 is the lowest you can get.
If you ram is bottle-necking your overclock mileage, then you should change to a good ram.

I dont rily get wat u min wif the statement

Dat mobo function only 1:1 when i overclock my proc...
The proc feq link to the ram freq...
so when i oc my proc, ram will be clocked too...

^^ so asking for superb overclocker's help...
how to make it "unlink" so that i can oc my proc only without changing ram clock...

u cant unlink it unless u use nvidia chipset board, but i dont think they going to overclock a quad to 500fsb easily.
and if u use 800mhz for 500fsb, u wont not get desire performance.
They key to tweak the performance in p45 is the PL setting, with 1:1 u will get > 10 in PL, maybe 11 or 12, u can check it using memset.

yes hengmy said rite..

nvidia chipset really hard oc FSB to above 400mhz.. there is FSB barrier..

btw TS, did u know how calculate the divider at 1 place?

for eg: 1066 FSB / 4 = 266mhz x multiplier = Speed thus 266mhz x 3 = 800mhz ram... 3 = ratio.. as u see 1:1 ratio... (i take 2:3 ratio)

not sure how far this ram can go., maybe you can get DDR2 1066 ram.
a base clock of 500mhz is impressive already.
i think 1:1 is the lowest ratio already, you don't have 5:4 to let the ram run at 400mhz with 500mhz base clock.

Errr the newer crucial ram is not using D9GMH
The Crucial that use D9GMH is 16FDx one aka double sided 1GB stick
Team Xtreem is quite awesome through,can hit 600mhz CL4 32M stable laugh.gif
And D9GMH/D9GKX only come in 1GB stick so only 2GB Kit
TO have 4GB,you have to buy 2 sets

Depend on speed/timing of course
Make sure you have proper cooling when attempting to pump vdimm through
