Both can get cheaper... 500D can get around 2.4~2.5k i think. Not all lowyat traders offer good price, you still need to survey though. Sometimes shop also offer better price.

If I remember correctly 35mm f2 is sharp even at wide open (f2.0) and better IQ. Bad side for low end bodies is, this lens has no motor...

That's so true. Once I get used to D90, I can't afford to turn back to D3k/D40. I blur blur dunno how to use my friend's D3k, too used to D90's buttons. But I don't have any friends using D300 and above so I can't try using it, at BTS not enough time to learn =D

My kata DR-467 bagpack is comfortable to carry but too big for casual outing, cuz it's mean to fit a 15 inch ++ laptop and DSLR. I have a bagman L Size slingbag, can fit all of my gears but somehow it's also quite bulky and not comfortable.

I wanted to get a comfortable bagpack for DSLR ONLY (no laptop) but it would make me have 3 bags @@ Haiz..
