anyway, i pre-order mine standard edition from Gamer's Hideout at Tropicana City Mall.
Not sure what region it is, but most likely is SEA i guess.

i most likely gonna start from scratch. since i basically sux in rts, but starcraft is the 1st game i bough....as in "arhem" la, cause that time really so oyung and no money, so now even if i sux big time i also getting the ori.

woots, another pre-order from tropicana city mall, but i ordered the standard version... cause i just supporting the game, my internet connection is very screwy, and i am afraid that it might be the same like assasin creed or splinter cell or settler 7.

thanks to KC gotten the beta keys for sc2beta.
Now i downloaded the blizzard downloader fro the official us.battle.net.
Then the blizzard downloader is downloading the client.

So i was thinking that after download, i not going to install it on my laptop, cause i now using my laptop in office to download.

So is it i just need to copy the whole folder of the downloaded client to my home desktop then only install it hen can already? As for the patching.... will i need to be patching from start till end?

EG: those patches from beta phase 1 also, or just the phase 2 patches will be updated?

Also, i think i surely missed some patches, so is it i just let it update it self it will auto patch from 1~3, or i need to restart the update after each patch? cause i plan to just leave it to patch whole night.

or anyone did a clean install of sc2 for beta phase 2? and how many patch needed from a clean install for sc2 beta phase 2?

What is the current version of the sc2? Now my clean install is 0.2.0.13891.
Guess is phase 1 file?

Patch updating seem faster than client downloading.
Will try to play on my lappie but no dedicated gcard, so will be damn slow.
but i guess can at least watch replay on lappie.

By the way, anyone know if the sc2 retail we can install n lappie and pc or not?
New to bnet, so i not familiar, is it like steam for the game, as long as u login as u urself, any pc also can install teh game?

i very new to bnet... is the placement match is 5 match that place u in what? what are those bronze and so on? Also, is it after 50 newbie match then the continous 5 match is the placement match?

kc, there's no full client to be downloaded la, no pre-loading for retail copy. the pre-load is for digital copy bought from http://beta-sea.battle.net/sc2/en/. and you can pre-load it then activate with ur retail copy cdkey as i remember someone did mention.

is like give u the advantage 1st, and fail later cause using the "advantageous" habit too much.

about the full client 1.... is for digital copy, not for retail copy, i pre-ordered mine. so even if i downloaded it, even if the client allow me to activate retail boxed copy, it doesnt serve the purpose, cause i sitll need to get the boxed copy withe the code to activate. =_=

i got it few days ago from kc, and i sitll being pwn kau kau. i hate novice map. the speed and blockage, spoil momentum only.

speed and momentum is ok ok, but my build order, and knowledge of the game is too few still. just on day 3 only now.
