QUOTE(danmooncake @ Sep 8 2010, 01:19 AM) Crazy huh? Yet another worry about Eurozone again? zaman, it is because momo wants it to down.. no other reason..But we all know the media just want to cook this up as a reason for sell off. I'm just thinking .. time to move money off the table because we got 4 days of up.. and running into resistance area here. A decent pull back would be nice - give some money back to the bears.. I do think bulls want to take this higher if bears can't muster a 3 digits pull back by tonight. Closing update Dow 10340.69 -107.24 -1.03% Nasdaq 2208.89 -24.86 -1.11% S&P500 1091.84 -12.67 -1.15% Correction - bears able to get -3 digits on Dow or more than 1%. This does not look good for bulls. I'm shorting.. just buy at the middle and wait to reap enough lar.. dmc.. dow seems to make a way back to 10k. the last few days are just nonsense... |

QUOTE(danmooncake @ Sep 10 2010, 01:57 AM) Sell off coming... dmc, how do u see the overbought signal? RSI or volume?Closing update: Dow 10415.24 +28.23 +0.27% Nasdaq 2236.20 +7.33 +0.33% S&P500 1104.21 +5.34 +0.49% Market rallied off earlier after better than expected initial jobless claims and trade gap eases off but gave back the gains. I don't think it can stay at this level any longer and it is pretty toppy at the moment. I think all it takes a just a bit of bad news, and this market will sell off with -3 digits again. Therefore, I've made a small entry for via bear shares SPXU @ 30 and TZA 31.80 at the moment. |

QUOTE(danmooncake @ Sep 11 2010, 04:25 AM) Closing update: The technical support is seen as 10k, but seeing the low volume for these upsides, I guess next week may be a dip.Dow 10462.77 +47.53 +0.46% Nasdaq 2242.48 +6.28 +0.28% S&P500 1109.55 +5.37 +0.49% Another bull day but close with a low volume week. Anyway, I'm scaling in my short positions now. Trimming the excess at the top, and selling into every bit of the uptick. Sold off all my AAPL calls and 3/4 of TCK for moderate profits. But, still holding HPQ. I must admit made a bad call on this one. No excuse. Have a great Hari Raya Aidilfitri holidays and enjoy your weekend! Hopefully, volume returns next week. Something is unusual, the bear is killed but bull has no power to up. May be momo is waiting to let go.. enjoy the dip next week.. |

Today's volume is normal.. high first then end flat..
From what I see, momo has released the stock and wait for tomorrow dip.. Added on September 15, 2010, 7:51 am Dow -17.64 10,526.49 -0.17% Nasdaq +4.06 2,289.77 +0.18% S&P 500 -0.80 1,121.10 -0.07% Mixed today.. momo will be in action.. This post has been edited by epalbee3: Sep 15 2010, 07:51 AM |

QUOTE(danmooncake @ Sep 17 2010, 04:37 AM) Closing update: With the reduced volume in DOW, i think momo is either disposing or collecting bullets..Dow 10594.83 +22.10 +0.21% Nasdaq 2303.25 +1.93 +0.08% S&P500 1124.66 -0.41 -0.04% Still flat but near closing, stocks recovered some of their earlier losses and basically same as yesterday. 4 days and going, SP500 still at this level 1119~1127, Dow 10500~10600. Sooner or later, it will either break up or break down. I'm hoping it will break down. It is more possible that momo is collecting short bullets, as if momo wants to collect long bullets, they should already did this during 10k boundary. momo now has hold so many bullets during 10k boundaries, it will take times for them to find the buyers. It is cleared that the last minutes rally showed momo intentions. There is also another possibilities: new fund manager comes to push them even higher, BUT unless this new fund manager is so powerful like US gomen, less investors will take the risk to enter at this point. Momo may be collecting short bullets now.. just my guess and wait to see coming markets.. DMC and Zaman: what do you think? |

QUOTE(danmooncake @ Sep 17 2010, 09:32 AM) Anything is possible. Evil US Govt got tons of money and they're buying up the market like no other. Last week and this week, all POMO day, less bad initial claims.. this give reason for bulls to stay and doesn't want to turn to bears yet. When news are very optimist, then it is time to big dip..RSI all showing overbought already. This gotta to pull back somehow. I give it 2-4 more sessions. Last time, the bulls stay up above the 200 day MA for approx 6 sessions before the big drop. I'm shorting at this level (1125-1127), with a tight stop above the 1131-1132 level. Playing SPXU and TZA, and holding some longs as hedge. Added on September 17, 2010, 8:31 pmC - broke above $4 again.. hopefully it can close at above it, that would be a bullish sign. |

QUOTE(danmooncake @ Aug 5 2011, 09:48 PM) Hard to pick the bottom but tonight we should get a pause here from the freefall. yeah.. have to pulled out from US share market to fund my furniture/renovation.. I'm covering and try to sell the pop to trim my risky exposure. For decent rally, both SP500 and Dow needs that 2.5% or higher. just bought my house at KL.. |

QUOTE(danielc156 @ Aug 8 2011, 09:50 PM) this time of dip is because US wants cut spendings..so there won't be government program to push high the stock market.. wait till u c the dip first only buy.. nobody can see where is the real dip now.. always wait till u r sure of a bounce... |

QUOTE(zamans98 @ Aug 9 2011, 05:54 AM) Yes, there is one of the reason. The panicking is just like the 2008 crash. Everyone start selling and run for gold. Just dun catch the falling knives..Bear in mind that if 10,000 defense is broken, even short-selling will be halt by certain brokers. Observe carefully.. this type of dropping is not one man work.. fund managers are working together to make this happen. we want buy at end of dip.. not the beginning of dip. |
