Depends on what broker type you want. Direct access or normal retail broker. What's your initial fund to play? If less than 2k$, I suggest you practice paper trading and use normal retail brokers. There are tons to choose from but nothing is one size fits all.

Please read back from the earlier threads as this has been discussed extensively. You can always use the search the button. If this is too much to do, it'd be wised to advice you that the US market is not for you.

I'm thinking this is a precursor staged to enable the Fed print some more money? Just a thought.

Saw a clip in cnbc that gold will have some short term correction. Gold futures might be required a higher margin rate like silver.

The politicians there are just in the pursuit of their interest. Hence, you may see their behavior rather 'irrational'.

That's why you see them do China-bashing a lot as it shifts the attention to the 'foreign threat'. They are so afraid of China because Chinese are finally able to get things done quickly faster than them.

HP is a goner for the decade. They are doing a revamp like IBM did during the dot com bubble years. I'm not sure if they are able to emulate the strategy.

honglun - Are u still trading LVS?

I like what I'm seeing now. Made 3 round trips profits already.

Also, Goldman gave its blessing today with PT of $52.  thumbup.gif

Resistance is still around 49-50 here. Hoping it will break out soon.
If not, it is a buy on pull back, sell the rips until it does so.

I took some profit yesterday. Wish I could stay up later to hit yesterday's high but good enough that I reached near high of the morning trading. There's some sort of confirmation at the 45+ level for now....I still can't wait for the dips.
