Glo Mall is now like SStwo Mall last time, keep delaying opening, opened a very empty mall and shut down shortly. But i really hope Glo can do miracles and find an area of strength, BIG is quite unique in the market, hope it can help.

this mall is hidden and road macam susah cari masuk. looks like sibeh bye bye soon.

As I gathered, BIG soft opening on 17/03/16.....by 2Q 2016, occupancy will be more than 50%.

Went to glo mall today. You be surprised by the crowd. Big's pull factor is kinda big with the yuppies.

Visited BIG and think will be my last. The Ingress into the mall is so poorly planned, perhaps due to the narrow plot of land. And you have to drive 4 levels upwards to reach the visitor parking. The main entrances are narrow and the backlane is where you will have to pass through and theres where the loading docks are at. The flow jusr isn't right.

Asking price RM 1000psf ? I rather do The Greens TTDI

irrespective. i think both malls you mentioned, and including atria mall would be under serious threat from sterling mall later.

This mall is destined to fail. They may put BIG as an anchor. But I doubt it will be a crowd pulling factor due to its horrible access and location. Let's see how long can BIG lasts here before they pull outta glo.

Looking at current rate of occupancy,
GLO days are numbered...
Now the group is relying on development return to fund the operating cost for mall as well as earlier committed finance charges.
Within 5km, GLO, 1UTAMA, Tropicana City Mall, and Atria...plus upcoming Starling...total 5malls.

Capital Mall setting up, management team leasing team and overall marketing strategy is very very much advance than GLO Glomac staff that not been given bonus for continuously Teo years.
Many have left the job....
In term of location, accessibility and management all below TCM,
I can't see any future for this mall.
The only changes of surviving is wait for large REIT to buy, do extension (but can't see any changes) and rebranding....

Glo Dsara (mall, residence, office) is still fairly new compared to much more mature TC (mall, residence, office).

The performance of the mall will be dependent on the residence and office as well. At this point, i think the residence is doing fairly ok but not so for the office. The office towers may pick up with the help of MRT once completed.

Too early to judge for now IMO.

Not all restaurants in DPC are successful. A few have closed down and taken over by others.

Product must be right also.

In Nu Sentral case, some restaurant that have closed, in my opinion, serves lousy to mediocre food at exhorbitant prices.
