from the list only 5 games can be register to your steam account, while the rest cannot

you can buy all the game from their site, but only the 5 game listed can only be activate on your steam account.

do note that the game u purchase from their site is not related to steam. which mean it a standalone/seperate installation that does't req steam to play

if you buy redfaction you get to download the game and will include the cdkey, but your cdkey wont be able to activate it on steam. mean that it will be a standalone game that does't req steam to play

you only can add to non steam game, which you wont be able to get update via steam.

i very much agree with you, gonna skip weekday,weekend sales if possible.

out of the sudden orange box,tf2,l4d2 & cs:source are on the top seller list when their not even a ongoing discount

you dont have to reenter your key, coz it already activated on your steam account.

just login to your steam account and it there for you to download

my guess that your l4d key is being revoke

therefore your l4d dissapear from your game list, and now your key is useless, unless you email steam support and prove that you own the copy of l4d

where did u buy your l4d?

steam support won't reply that fast, wait for another 12hour or less.

it kinda strange since you bought the asia version so your key won't get revoke. valve games have region restriction. if you buy valve games from other country and activate here in malaysia. either it won't activate, or the key will get revoke after sometime later.

just backup the steamapps folder under steam to a diff directory

after u reinstall your os, just copy and paste it back to steam folder

then verify steam cache on each game that is installed by right click > properties > local files > verify intergrity of game cache
