I'm using win 7 x64 as well and does't have any problem connecting to steam.

if i have problem i just use HotspotShield to connect to steam then dc from it after

as for the server i set mine to malaysia, always get max download speed

no problem running the game, i'm using win 7 as well

played a few round no crash

maybe u can try verify the game cache see if it fix the crash

you buy left4dead 4 pack, then one copy of l4d will be tie to your steam account, then the other 3 copy can be gifted to your others friend by going ;

click on the games tab,scroll down to manage gift and guest passes, then enter their email add to send the game

since you already own l4d2, you can't buy the 4pack on your own account. you have to buy it on your friend account then send the other 3 copy to other friend.

gift does't have any expiry date, except for guest passes
