Search for a member called Deimos. In his signature you will find a download link to the Steam client. Unzip it, open steam.exe in it, let it update. Once it updates fully, copy the contents of the folder into your own Steam folder, replacing every thing.

If it still refuses to update, try doing it at 3am in the morning. Worked for me

All those who cant login and update, click my username and search for my posts for the solution to your problem. Lazy to repost again and again lol.

But at least your Steam client is now updated. Sometimes it's like that, you still wont be able to login. I get that like every day since the sales started. Keep trying and you'll eventually get in. Sometimes it will prompt for your password even though you've ticked 'save my password'. And don't delete your clientregistry.blob file.

Yeah is it really the last day? I mean with all the different time zones and all, you never know.

Oh well I decided not to buy Killing Floor. Got L4D2 and TF2 to keep me company for some time longer.

So total purchased:
(1) Left 4 Dead 2 - $7.65 (4-pack price)
(2) Half Life - $2
(3) Madballs in Babo: Invasion - $2
(4) Introversion complete pack - $5

Total $16.65 for 7 games.

I'm just scared there won't be any servers for KF. I dont really have any kaki to play with lah. All my kakis are either play in CC or play pirated games. That or they only exclusively play DOTA or HON. Or f****** facebook games lol.

Quite easy to find strangers in co-op Campaign mode, Versus mode is usually full, especially at night. If no one is playing campaign, just join and play alone... it usually doesnt take long for someone to join you.

I also dont have kaki.
