Guess that I am not the only one that buy but never really spend the time to play it. Really envy those who can work from home or don't have to bother working 12 hours everyday.

Sometimes Steam is a real piece of horseshit. Like today.

I come home and just want to play some games. It's been 15 minutes and I'm still trying to connect to Steam. I don't know why it takes so long to verify a simple username/password pair. It can't be the network right? I mean, this post I'm making contains more bytes than that.

I can only assume their backend is some crappy piece of shitware.

i am using win 7 32bit.
when i download the steam application. The problem till now still can't be solve.

It cannot be connect almost all the time.
But still able to connect to steam and download the "Alien Swarm"

Any perfect solution to fix this ? beside install win xp

i already open every port that list in the faq.

The web page told us to disable the anti virus program or add it into the exception list.

For the new avast, i have no idea how to add it into exception.

May i know how to do this ?

Yes you can. Maybank debit card has been certified to be working. There was 1 Steam service provider who was using EON debit card but all the games he purchased was rendered useless after a few days & it caused quite a ruckus.

trade in as in re-selling back to steam store?
(bought cd key made void)

or giving to other steam accounts?
(very unlikely since cd keys cannot be transferred? or will new cd keys be issued? old ones voided?)
