I think I downloaded too many original games to know what seeds are.

All I heard is that they give you teh aids.

download the steam client from the link in my signature, unzip the files into your steam folder. try and run steam again.

Gosh, time out. I just want to rant on a small thing about RUSE. Why the hell do they insist on following this outdated left click to select and left click to move mouse control. That's just dumb. Why would you want to do that! Almost all strategy games now use right click for movement. Sorry Eugen systems but the westwood studios way of doing things is dead! I just cant understand why they want to do it this way. Right clicking in RUSE does nothing!!!! GAWD!...

Anyway I know not a biggie...there are some cool things about RUSE(like the way you control you units like a piece of chip on a table, reminds me of those army men games and toy soldiers)...if only the battles were a lot deeper. So far I only see a game that is about countering units, no other strategic depth. So far, its certainly not a war game.

Other ways to fix your steam issue

- Change DNS to Google DNS or OpenDNS ( http://code.google.com/speed/public-dns/ ) or (http://www.opendns.com/)

That fixes the most of the "stuck at connecting issues". Highly recommended. The how-to guide is located in those sites. You'll have to flush your DNS Cache after you've changed your DNS Servers

They do get, but probably much slower.

Maybe they are still stuck with Medic update.

Cant we change the controls (although I doubt we can)? Now this stuff is a real turn off to me. Imagine if an FPS actually requires you to move using mouse and fire your weapon with WASD keys.... Things that have become the norm shouldn't be messed around with.

....Also, why the hell hasn't Dawn of Discovery gotten a price slash? For an Ubisoft game, I had initially expected massive drop in price after a year. And now one year later it's still at full price, damn.
