googled this up...

The BlackBerry Internet Service, or BIS, allows BlackBerry users to access the Internet and POP3/IMAP/Outlook Web Access email accounts without connecting through a BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES).[1] The service is usually provisioned through your mobile phone service provider, though Research In Motion (RIM) (BlackBerry's developer) actually runs the service.[2] This service uses RIM's proprietary push technology (in contrast with SyncML-based push technologies such as Funambol) to the BlackBerry devices over cellular carriers. BIS retrieves email from mail servers by polling a POP3 or IMAP server.

QUOTE(bizness @ Jan 25 2011, 07:31 PM)
Anyway my warranty card is not filled and there is no retailer's stamp on it..and also I've just checked the phone Zitron sticker behind and the date is marked on November 2010 but I bought it 2 days ago..Will the warranty starts from Nov 2010 or 2 days ago when I purchase the phone?..I really hope Nokia give me a 1 to 1 exchange..Anyway the price I bought is RM1020 which is lower than the Nokia store price which is at RM1108 if not mistaken..Will they still accept the 1 to 1 exchange..

Thanks alot for the fast reply smile.gif

Just curious about the condition of the phone when you got it... If you wonder ur HP have been used before Since the date stamped is November,
Type *#92702689# . See the Life Timer: Hr:minutes . If you never do any calls that long stated in the Life timer, means the phone has been used by someone else before you. Its to track Call time, not idle time.
