QUOTE(twhong_91 @ Jul 8 2011, 10:43 AM) Ya, the aluminium mats/ hard surface mats. Something similar to razer vespula but my budget is around RM70 only. try looking for 2nd hand vespula or exacmat(forgotten spelling ><) .. if dont mind then go for Razer Scarab ??This post has been edited by rave963: Jul 24 2011, 02:39 AM |

None of you are using CM Storm mousepads?
I'm currently using a CM Storm CS-X Battle Pad DP mousepad. The area is much bigger than my MacBook Pro 15" and the surface is smooth, like Steelseries' mousepads. That and it costs only RM49 at AllIT hyperstore.. I took the last one hanging. ![]() |

You should check out this one, then. I compared it with my Razer Goliathus. This one is slightly thicker than a Razer Goliathus. Very comfortable and smooth. |

I would say the SX it's supersmooth however it's top of the line price haha. Try considering the 4HD it should be around your budget and for me i prefer the QcK mass |

QUOTE(Jeffrey1987 @ Jul 28 2011, 11:15 PM) Roccat Sota is not portable at all as the surface is covered with hard "plastic" I should say and at the same time foam base hmm, maybe all mousepads are actually portable, just see whether convenient or not for the user to take XD. For me, I prefer clothmat rather than hardmat. XD |

Yeah, for hard gaming mats you will definitely need a backpack to store it in. Perhaps even a mat sleeve so as not to scratch up the surface. I prefer soft maps, just throw it in the bag or roll it up. Usually I will use it as extra 'padding' for my laptop while it's in the bag.
