I know Vapor is really cool, but I know the price will make me broke, If you don’t feel like shelling out $30 for a bumper for your iPhone 4, Oliver Nelson has posted a DIY for a $1 alternative to a bumper. The bracelets which Lance Armstrong made popular are cheap, and easy alternative to the bumpers, and actually do fix the reception issue.

All you have to do is wrap the bracelet around the iPhone. Unfortunately, you will have to cut a whole for the 30-pin port, the speakers, the headphone jack, and the secondary mic.
