Great meeting you guys though I did not get to know everyone. Stringfellow thanks for arranging the meet up. Took some photos for remembrance with my ancient camera , hope it turns up ok.
The iPhone 4 is a worthwhile buy and for those still doubting or hesitating just wait for official launch probably Sept , can save some ringgit then .

Facetime using wifi only??

YES but is only a temporary setback. During the keynote address Steve Jobs did hint that the 3G option would come by 2011. I guess the reason is ATT is unable to cope with the huge data load expected. I suspect too that the 3G capability is already builtin the firmware , just need a patch later to activate it. Pity it will only be iP4 to iP4

tried before on my previous phone..as long as the solution doesn't flow into the speaker/any holes available, it should be ok.
The thing is...it's damn difficult to apply and the final output might not look as good as u see in the video.
Protection wise, undoubtedly it's really good. However, it will be difficult to glide your fingers across the screen as it feels rubbery.
After 2months of usage, orange peel and oxidation effect will start to surface and before u knew it, u would tear it away and go for other products.
Just to share my experience on Zaggs IS.
Protection: 9 /10
Aesthethic after 2months: 3/10

I tried Zagg before on my HD2 ; the quality is indeed poor after few months use. That time I thought maybe I did not do it properly

Don't be surprise - there will always be a buyer who is willing to pay ( read " rich and always ask " money, what money ???" ) as a early user. I definitely will not pay even if I have the $$ - at around 3-3.2K possibly I will consider

You might not believe it but is true Malaysia's data coverage of 3G/Edge/HSPDA networks is more reliable than USA AT&T . Many US consumers has complain about AT&T and I'd supposed the new complains of the iPhone4 losing signals is also due to AT&T unreliability. This is why Apple has now decided to allow Verizon too to promote their iPhone 4.

I was at the last meetup with fellow LY members at KLCC - all of them say NO SUCH ISSUE in Kuala Lumpur .

im using ip4 here but im having reception issue whenever i cup the phone . im on o2 but roaming , normal ( cause network always fluctuate ) or just my luck ?
*
Today, Friday we will be hearing from steve jobs at his press conference about the steps Apple will take to address this reception issue from users facing such problem. Maybe you will get a free bumper. Anyway Apple had clearly said one can always return n get a refund if you are unhappy. Just like one of the member here who had return it and reorder a new one. In the web yesterday, some rumor that Apple already fix n redesign the antannae in the newer production - just rumor. I doubt Apple will confirm this as by acknowledging it is indirectly saying the early lots has hardware issues

Any proximity sensor issue on your phones? Also are you guys able to pair with bluetooth headsets properly?
*
Steve Jobs had acknowledge in the 16 Jul press conference there is a proximity sensor problem and it will be resolve in the next iOS4 update. He only deny there is a antenna issue problem with the iphone ( saying other phones too similar issue ) and he is offering a free bumper to ease all buyer's concerns

Had to ask here, is the MicroSIM available for postpaid users only or prepaid as well?
*
On Maxis you can get the microsim enhanced data package. I was told that after 6 months, you can convert to prepaid plan

On Celcom , Digi - just buy any of their Broadband prepaid package and cut the sim card down to micro size yourself using a sharp pair of scissors. It works perfectly - I have tried both prepaid Digi ( EDGE only ) and Celcom . Finally settled on Celcom prepaid

string, now u are using the puncher? is the puncher worth getting?

still thinking to get it from beavis or not
*
I'd say the main advantage of using the puncher is that you can use back your microsim as a normal sim card when the need arise. Other than that, using a sharp scissors to cut is less of a hassle - fast and easy

BTW guys - I'll reschedule my monthly trips to KL and tried to be there this Thu - my second time meetup!
