your corrupted memory card problem makes me reluctant to use the transcend 8GB class 6 microsd card that comes with my Touch HD on the hTC Desire...but i dont know why it's so hard to find a class 6 microSD card....

cant xplain huge price difference...as i'm looking at the price list now it's a kingston class 6 ultimate....typo??

How do we get Swype on an unrooted Android 2.1 phone?

I've had the problem but there is a method to ensure you dun run into it, make sure that after you dismount the sd card from PC, re-select your connection on the phone to charge only and only then remove the cable. Since the last time my SD card corrupted, I've been following this method and so far so good. I'm suspecting it's the USB debugging that is the problem. Someone out there recommended this method and I followed.

i dont think so any of the maxis partner will stock d desire. i m not sure abt Johor but for KL, only selected maxis center stock desire. for the mSD the maximum u can go is 32gb.

I'm having this MAJOR problem with my Desire.

When I call, the display goes black, even when I pull my face away from the phone. My proximity sensor doesn't seem to be working. 

Kinda sucks that I can't hang up on anyone in a call, and I can't even order McD's cause can't use my keypad. This is driving me nuts. 

Still under warranty but lazy to go change and reinstall everything.

Anyone facing the same problem? 

If they are going to use the .35/.36 kernel, then there'll be a huge difference in battery performance. I'm using a tweaked .35 RC6 and getting some marvellous battery life. 1 hour on standby and it only deteriorates 1%.
