Yup, or you can copy the shortcut for throttlestop and put it inside Startup folder in start menu, then it will auto startup...

Thankiu very much for sharing your knowledge. biggrin.gif
If it were me to explore myself, it would took another weeks or so to figure it out. sweat.gif doh.gif

Added on January 6, 2011, 6:24 pmJust now earlier I Disabled Intel Speedstep® (EIST) at BIOS.
I should just leave it disabled right?
Sorry, just asking some clarification.

Alright, thank you so much.
I felt quite a significant improvement when I export photos, it won't become sluggish like earlier before I do anything.

Thank you so much! biggrin.gif

Dell online website, 100% trustworthy.
If you don't have credit card, try borrowing from relatives or close friend.
You'll never get any wrong by buying online.

Oh and I heard before if you're good at negotiation, you can try calling them up to grab more freebies too.

This laptop can support USB 3.0 right using controller?

And also, 1 of my keyboard's button seems like coming loose or something.
Can it be replaced or something?

Any idea where can I get that?

For the keyboard, out of so many buttons, the Enter buttons is getting loose. Very annoying to click enter... So annoying sweat.gif

I'm not not sure why my XPS 13 bought on last Dec 2010...sometime it just hang...until I had to reboot it.
Its sound sf pair with a good headphone like Sennheiser, its really good unlike its tiny sound outside. So far my complaint it really getting hotter after 45 minutes watching movie- without the external fan.
And when its hot..it get jam..hang until need to reboot.
So far I don't think I'm satisfy with this Dell.

I didn't on my external fan if I weren't gaming only.
So far I just use something to elevate the laptop slightly so it could ventilate better.

Hey I'm planning to upgrade my RAM to 8GB.
Any recommended brand whatsoever?
I think the one I'm currently using is 2x2GB.
Probably settling with 2x4GB.

Anyway about the monitor color calibration, I downloaded someone's color profile which they calibrated with Spyder.

To my surprise, yes it turned from cold to warm tone.
A very big difference in color and frankly speaking, I couldn't cope with the color. Too warm probably.

I'll try to find the link and put it here if possible.
As for now, I used to use 2 color profile.
The cold tone for casual usage while the warm tone(calibrated) for photos editing.

It might not be accurate but it seems near to accurate for printing.

Good luck ktyz doh.gif

Hey lee, need help from you again.
My ATI4670 now still version 8.x something, I wanted to update it to latest.

I tried installed every possible driver from amd site but when I check my driver details from Right Click Computer>Manage>Device Manager for the display adapter, it's still showing the driver dated back 2009.

Any idea how to update it manually?
Go to ATI file and search for the .inf folder?

Sorry lee, another new problem arise here. Need you to shed some light here...

2 of my software giving me 2 different RAW images displayed from the same source of image.

Digital Photo Professional (Canon's OEM software) and Adobe Lightroom 3 and CS5.

What could be the problem here? Also sometimes when I using the Windows Viewer to view some of my RAW image, is it normal for the color to be washed out when the photo finish rendering?
