I have a guy as a best friend. No problems...just that other people think we're dating cos we're so close. Eeyerr.

not necessarily. My best friend is a guy and we've been best friends for about four or five years now. We have our own partners, but we're recognized as purely platonic so we have no trouble at all.

I personally keep best guy friend and boyfriend separate. My boyfriend isn't considered my best friend...because if that happens, there's a drawn line that shouldn't be there. THere are things you can't do with a best friend but you can with a boyfriend...so..
