both can be indeed good friends.. but most of the time.. it leads to complicated relationships... again.. it's hard to have such a friendship... we should treasure them

can.. be good friends.. nothing wrong about that
very close friends if you're not attached.. if attached.. will have some boundaries.. but also depends.. there are good/very close buddies out there even they're attached.

just be sure you know how to make ur other half feel important and that you're not depending on your buddy instead of him/her.
