Yes, i also agree with it. Whenever I call up my "guy" friend out for yum cha, he sure say busy lar... tired lar... seem like avoiding me.. but i am sure that he don't like me.. he already got gf and more good to his gf of cuz
and I feel he scared to come out alone with gurl... lolz mayb I will eat him up 
But i sure if we had anything problem or help... they sure come to us and help us. No problem if both of them (gal & guy) are sporting enuff... and them are also in relationship (mean each person also hav gf and bf).
