Erm... some says that, if you do not have that high of the patience or spiritual development like the monk.. Its best that you leave the mantra alone. Because the spirit who cannot move on may stick on you instead so that you can help them move to another dimension... Just my 2 cents...

Pendent or whatever it is... It depends on your believes... The only thing that is important is not to go out at night when you are scared... and just leave things be... the more you acknowledge the micro energy aka spirits by fearing them, the more sensitive you get.. so.. yea... and dun talk ghost story at night.. you will attract them.. thats all.. it all depends on you..

Well, here is what I heard some time ago... back in my college..

The final exam were just around the corner.. So the student of the college were all studying hard having last minute preparation... In the college, most of the students stay in the hostel to save the hassle of traveling or because they came from somewhere far away from the college....

So there is one gal studying till late at night just like any other students.. Then around one midnight an old lady appears at the side of her window and knocks on it asking her something... if I am not mistaken she asked the girl whether she wana drink something or not.. Milo or coffee... I suppose.. Anyway she din give the old lady much attention since its her crucial time of preparation for the last showdown. So, she just reply the old lady with a short answer saying that she was busy or something before the old lady walks away...

After some time the girl then realise that how can the old lady possibly be there??? She is staying in 4th floor!

Lol.. Seriously... Its scary man... You some more wana catch it? geng la u.. dun you think you are like living in a horror movie yourself? waiting and watching silently as the toyol approaching you? My gawd... This will surely scared the shit outa me... If cannot faint or make you sleep... it will be one excruciating experience... cant sleep and tremble for the whole night..

After few months, i met a another "suan ming" sifu at Tangkak, he also told me the same thing...he said if i go temple, see "Fatt Joe Kong" must go serve joss stick and add light oil money. He can protect me.
