QUOTE(grisiaca @ Feb 25 2011, 12:28 PM) I'm torn between Sennheiser Hd428 and Audio technica M30... any suggestion on which one should i buy? reasons? but too bad these two aren't really portable... anyone know portable ones with similar price and sound quality? M30 us a monitoring phones, so it gives u more details and clarity and its bass shy. On the other hand, senns are famous for their laid back sounds, which tunes for fun and got more bass than M30. So it depends. Do u like details and clarity or u like bass and laid back sounds (which means not as detail but providing u with more enjoyable listening). Its ur choice to make.

QUOTE(peinsama @ Feb 28 2011, 03:00 PM) Hi guys, I have an earphone : UE Metro Fi 220 and the problem im facing is that my left side is not functioning while my right side is functioning as normal. Moreover, every time i try to adjust the headjack (after i connect it to the ipod's input), sound will occur but as i let my fingers go, the left side malfunction again. I tried with other earphones and it seems that other earphones are doing fine, so i can safely assume its not my ipod problem. Are there any solution to such problem or i have to let this earphone go and get myself a new one. I bought this UE earphone last year October. claim warranty? i thought UE honors 1 year warranty....?? after getting new set.... sell it and get a new one

QUOTE(IzeStorm @ Mar 9 2011, 04:32 PM) Lot's of Sonicgear basher/hater there Thank you BTW for your budget, sonicgear is one of the options. haters will hate... basher will bash.... no doubt... but in the end of the day its ur hard earn money.... anyways... just try it out 1st.... the only thing i dont like about sonicgear is its overpowering bass... other than that, tru my untrained ears... it should do u good... and dont forget to test sennheiser hd201 also... it range about rm110 retail...

QUOTE(FieryAeon @ Mar 10 2011, 02:23 PM) I'm planning to save up to get the Audio Technica A700 or anything within the RM600 region. Can someone give me some reviews or suggestions what I can aim for? I prefer something with decent kick in bass and listen mostly to J-Pop/Rock, a bit of trance on the side, and R&B occasionally. Not into classics or orchestra but something with good separation would be nice. audio technica M50 would be suitable for ur taste....

QUOTE(FieryAeon @ Mar 10 2011, 04:08 PM) Erm, I'm wanna listen to music, so something that neutral is far from ideal. I wont call the m50 neutral. Its detail and clear and more bass than m30.

QUOTE(JustForFun @ Apr 4 2011, 10:43 PM) Look no further than the Phonak Audio PFE, the overall sound signature is balanced and it does pretty well in every aspect. The musical signature will suit everyone just well. The PFE is a beast on it's on and it doesn't need and wouldn't benefit much from amping The DBA-02 can be too dry and thin for some. i wont say too dry or thin.... is a bit bright but its not dry or thin at least for me lol

QUOTE(HoNeYdEwBoY @ Apr 19 2011, 10:47 AM) i usually listen to some song that have bass, i require something with noise isolating also. so if razer moray good enough? if ure going for gaming... then i think its ok... but recommending something from a gaming manufacturer for a musical headphones is not something any of us would recommend... noise isolating the best bet for u is using iems (in - ear - monitors) the one where u have to poke into ur ears lol... the best isolation for iem so far i got from fischer audio DBA -02 but its not ur cup of tea i guess... bassy iems u can look for senn CX300, fischer audio eterna (bassy goodness), soundmagic PL21 (i think its should be bassy enough)

i've tried the sony MDR MC500D and turn on the noise cancelling button but after doing that i felt a slight silent pulse and its hurting my eardrums...
is it the noise cancelling effect? seriously it felt really uncomfortable.
