V6GT uses CM Xtraflo. Which is the same fan as the Blademaster. It is only loud at max RPM. H100's fan is also freaking loud and it's quite normal. If you want high performance, high static pressure fans that are not loud (or acceptable at max speed) you can get either the Scythe Gentle Typhoon AP15 or Noctua

QUOTE(Clem1982 @ Dec 7 2011, 09:34 AM) Yes they can be replaced. Nothing wrong with it but some people say they are VERY NOISY. They are the same fan used on the 212 Evo but the 212 EVO only comes with 1 piece. The fans are only noisy at full blast 2200 RPM, which is quite normal. The corsair H100 at 2k+ RPM is ridonculously noisy too.Entry level corsair hydro series is not recommended, you get better performance with air cooling and they lasts forever. Once the Hxxx pump goes, you can throw your whole cooling solution away. For H series, one should only consider H80 and H100 |

It's a reservoir + pump top combo.

It's an EK360. It's missing a fan and will be completely replaced by AC F12 PWM tomorrow. We have 80 pieces of them

Looks like a
Cosmos + 600T + 800D super hybrid. Those two handles look really ugly. |

F12 PWM is much better/quieter. At RM30 it is hard to beat. Another contender is the CM Blade master which also has very high static pressure but it's a little noisier

You can get it polished but you are better off just ignoring it or have a new acrylic cut out from an advertisement shop

Some hint: - Red Ram - Our favorite single GPU PSU - No hdd, some 80gb ssd That's all! You should be able to compile the exact hardware spec |

Without those 4 ugly things sticking out of the casing, I'd say it's a pretty decent casing by CM

Can you take a picture of the side panel opened, front shot view, like those we usually take? It seems that you could route the FSP PSU cable behind the mobo, if that's the case, this casing may be made our favourite sub RM 1xx casing besides the Xigmatek Asgard Pro.
I hope you twisted the yellow fan sensor wire, it is the most annoying wire on the F12 PWM |

QUOTE(torino @ Apr 19 2012, 11:00 AM) Actually FSP cable is pretty short and unable to reach the socket board from the back, so im using one 4 pin extension.... You sure have paid great attention to how we route and hide all the cables » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « The quest to finding the best RM1xx casing hasn't ended. ![]() Above is a Xigmatek Asgard Pro. Can't hide the 8pin mobo cable with this casing otherwise it is close to perfect |

If you are going for Ivy Bridge, this cooler is no longer enough to handle the heatload.

QUOTE(MoNnY @ Apr 20 2012, 01:13 PM) won't ivy generate less heat with the new architecture? planning on going i5 3570k. Guess we have to wait and see what new coolers come out. a bit limited with 311 plus though i feel. limited with the height. unless i go for 92mm HSFs. IB generates a ton more heat than SB. We have about 3 pcs in the works now |
