The hard disk tray atas woh? the front fan direct blow the HDD, the two fan I think to increase input airflow. BTW behind the two fan there is any component ah? Another question y they(two fan) don't locate at GC area?

I've owned both. Go with CM690 II. More functionality.

I'm wondering whether new Cosmos 2 still have the issue whereas there are some problem/difficulties inserting exhaust fans on top of the casing.

I bought Storm Scout instead...the 690II design too plain for me, k62 a bit over budget. I love the tough design of the Storm Scout... TS add me into the list!

A very good choice. Once a proud owner of the Scout. I can assure you that it will never let you down. smile.gif
Especially the top handle, very handy to move around the case from places. The cooling also good.

what is the difference between sys_fan and pwm_fan on the mobo?

How is my cable management? My first attempt, comment please? The most annoying was the SATA powerr cable, I need to flip my HDD so that i dont need to flip the whole cable upside down. =.=

sys_fan is a standard 3-pin connection for adding extra fan. Most does not have PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) control.
pwm_fan does have PWM with 4-pins as standard.
So if you put a 4-pin fan into your sys_fan, still works but cannot control the PWM.
As for your cable management, I say good job because you're able to tuck away most of the cables out of view.
This can be improve if you're using modular cables or sleeved cables.
For the HDD, I suggest you flip it up to protect the board at the bottom of the disk. Prevent dust buildup and static free.
Try to work your way around. smile.gif

need opinion from you guys, right now i own CM elite 430, it can install 6 fans.

right now i kinda attracted to CM Storm Enforcer, but the fans it can install is 4 (only 3 if the upper fan is 140/120mm cant remember)

you think the amount of fans will effect the airflow? or does the CM STROM series is better?

to be honest, adding more fans to the casing doesn't really affect the temperature in the casing much, in my haf 912, my rear fan already rosak for probably a few weeks, now no time to change, but everyday, i check the temperature of the cpu and gc, it still the same as b4 when the fan is working well..(im using cm xtra flow fan, just used like mayb 3 months then rosak..wtf  doh.gif )

same goes to my old cm690, especially the fan in front, its more like a decoration thing for me, even add or no add, the harddisk temperature is not even affected, so if you think that adding more fan to the casing will really affect ur temperature much, try to do some experiment

then go for water cooling!

New CM user here! Cooler Master CM690 II Advance biggrin.gif

Just a question for you guys using this case, have you all experience any difficulties fitting the 8-pin in the small hole at the top? I kinda force my 8-pin in and in manage to fit through, but now I'm worried that I would have to force in out again if I would want to remove it..
