based on those that I have seen, might be a little biased though.

Peter Schmeichel

Cafu, Cannavaro, Nesta, Maldini/Carlos

C.Ronaldo, Zidane, Gerrard, Messi

R.Fowler/F.Torres, Luiz Ronaldo

Just a question, to do who picked Pele in "All time", did you guys actually watch Pele play before? I've certainly can't find much decent videos of him =/
*
Good question. Why not base your respective picks on players you've seen and not those you've only heard about from your dad or whoever? Let it be your opinion and not someone elses. Here's mine:-

GK) Peter Schmeichel - Big, agile and commanded his box well. Made some spectacular saves in his time.

RB) Cafu - I find it hard pressed to find a fitter individual. A constant menace down the flanks. He was ever present on both ends of the pitch even at 36.
CB) Franco Baresi - Superb reader of the game. Not mere coincidence he has so many medals. Part of arguably the greatest defence in the world at the time
alongside Costacurta, Maldini and Tassoti.
CB) Maldini - Not the paciest of defenders but like Baresi, reads the game really well. Putting him at CB to make way for my LB pick
LB) Andreas Brehme - Aside from being a good defender, he was a good passer of the ball and could play with both feet. Probably most known for his winning penalty in the finals of the 1990 World Cup against Maradona's Argentina.

RW) Ronaldinho - His control on the ball is simply sublime. His footwork is mesmerising.
CM) Ruud Gullit - Could play in a variety of his positions, such was his versatility. Played in attack and in towards the end of his career, at the back, like Matthaus did. A commanding and inspirational figure in the centre of the park.
CM) Maradona - Superb ball control, vision and ball control.
LW) Ryan Giggs - Was to be the best left winger in the world in his prime. Had pace and sublime skill.

ST) Marco Van Basten - Had good strength and a rocket of a shot. Sadly he retired before his time, succumbing to injury. Truly on of the greatest forwards of all time to me.
ST) Gabriel Batistuta - Sadly, never played in the Premiership. Natural goalscorer who was good on the ball. Surely one of the most prolific of his generation.

GK: Oliver Khan. 1 of the most consistent GK in my eyes.

RB: Cafu. This should be everybody's pick.
RCB: Nesta. He has great physique, but his ability to read the game is unbelievable. His tackles are always clean.
LCB: Maldini. Similar with Nesta.
LB: Zambrotta. Before he joined Barca, he was f**ing marvelous fullback.

DM: This is the tough 1. Either these 3:

1) Edgar Davids. He is like, ermm, Makelele, plus his great supportive forward runs.

2) Pep Guardiola. Gelled Barca's only Dream Team together single-handedly.

3) Fernando Redondo. You want to talk about underrated players? Look no further than him.

RM: Zidane. 1 of the best of all time. So no need elaboration here.
LM: Pavel Nedved. Creative and industrious player.
AM: Clarence Seedorf. He is small, but he compensates his physique disadvantages with superb touches and creativity. For me, he was as important to Milan as Kaka was to them.

RFW: Ronaldo. Great turn of pace, and great eyes for goals. Rare breed of striker nowadays. Which Ronaldo? Not the cute one.
LFW: Ronaldinho. In his prime, he was a total football God. No kidding. He is the only reason why Barca have so much followers in the USA nowadays. His skills offered much more than mere football. It caught everyone's imaginations.
