Bro your phone already hspl. So you can now proceed to change windows rom ( optional) and install android

Since already hspl,  You can now flash radio. If you want you can do it again.
What radio version are you on now. Is it 2.&&&&&&.050 or 0.51? Make sure you choose right version

Radio 0.51 ?? This is tricky

In this case , I suggest you do a HSPL3 . As yours is TMOUS set , check your phone Flash ROM size  which have 2 types:  512 MB or 1024 MB

Then only select radio : any radio above 2.08 will do . Choose the one with 0.50.

If you want latest, select 2.12.50.02 - actually is your choice. You can test several radios and decide which is best.

Please check first your flash rom size , then just follow the link I have given you to install the correct HSPL

CustomRUU.exe is the program file you run to execute the flashing process

RUU_Signed.nbh is the flash file. Some rom cooks will auto show their flash file as this ; while some will show it as others to show their signature eg Chuckyv24.nbh . So you need to check the nbh file name and rename it first before flashing - same reasoning for Radio files too

mine too. i have 3 batteries now. but i guess it's normal. palringo, outlook activesync, location service, google latitude ... maybe some other applications. last time when i don't have all these running on my x1, the battery would last 1 day, and when i use internet on my x1, it would last just few hours. so i guess with all these applications constantly connecting, then it should be no surprise.

talking about batteries, momax 1100ma last longer than stock (1230ma). stock last longer than andida 1600ma

so the lower the capacity, the longer it last.

HSPL is only a few MB. Radio replaces the original radio thats already on the phone so it uses about the same storage space not more.

How slow is slow?

Hmm. Never had any problem with GPS with radio 2.12.50 before. Maybe it was just at that moment. You can try and see if it persist.

BTW what rom are you using.

still on stock rom??? perhaps you should flash custom which proven to be strong and faster.

Most of Dutty's ROMs use the stock interface. He removes unwanted apps and introduces some useful apps and configurations to make the ROM light and fast.

Goto his site. Each ROM is well described.

Please make sure you are Not connected to your PC while you browse your device because your storagecard will not appear. unless your remove from diskmode.

have you try out mp3tag??? you put all your .mp3 inside the Music folder or song album folder inside Music Folder??

putting all mp3 in Music folder is kindda messy why dont you  try to re-organise all your favourite songs into a folder. then use this MP3tag to tag each songs with proper id and photo into individual album by doing this your player will auto arrange your albums.
