guys guys, how much would it cost if want to cleanup overheated laptop? seems like the thermal paste and pad is already worn out, judging from the idle heat (65C).
spec: Intel Pentium dualcore T2330 1.6Ghz, 2GB RAM, Intel graphics

QUOTE(miahahaha @ Jul 1 2010, 08:54 PM) What happen dear cloud???....haha, nak check/cuci blower nak kena bukak satu laptop well my gf laptop likes to auto shutdown due to overheat nowadays so i suspect the culprit is the blower collecting dust and i need to replace the thermal paste/pad too. i thought the laptop design is similar to my previously owned BenQ S73G, easy-to-reach blower and heatsink. opened my gf laptop's RAM panel and i can easily see the heatsink for proc and GPU. and then the nightmare... opened the laptop bit-by-bit, and suddenly i realized im gonna strip open the laptop. work halted. searched for repair manual on the net. read through it. and then i see that the laptop's design is that the LCD panel is clamped with the body. had to take out the display from the body then only can open it. nice one Acer.
