But as a graduate I can say that the cert I have does not separate core and total cgpa. I graduate a year ago.

Nope. When applying for graduation you have a choice either pick it up yourself or have it posted to your house. My suggestion, go and pick it up. I chose post and the transcript was all folded over by the basted postmen even though it's already written there 'Jangan Lipat'.

As per my graduation one year ago, here's what's written on the back of my transcript.

First Class Honours = >3.50
Second Class Honours (Upper) = 3.00-3.49
Second Class Honours (Lower) = 2.00-2.99

And yes, Hons is given to all that simply passes without any CGPA requirement.

Btw, this is written on any transcript given by UNITEN. So if you've passed your Foundation, go take it out and look at the back.

Any failed subjects obviously need to be retaken. You can't graduate with a failed subject. But if they're not fail, then it's fine without retaking. Though retaking would be better to raise your CGPA.

As I said, if it's not a fail, you don't have to. But it will definitely affect your job search later on. Which employee going to like such a result.

Printed in cert I can't say for sure. One thing I know is you can only replace marks on retakes if it is less than 30 credit hours. I'm not what's that total stands for though. If it's your current total credit hour or total retaken credit hour. Not sure.

However if it is replaced, my guess would be it would just be replaced instead of printed together.

A : 4.00
A- : 3.67
B+ : 3.33
B : 3.00
B- : 2.67


Honestly, don't look too much into scores. I heard a lot of companies are actually cautious with high scores as they're afraid they're more to brain than actual work.

ntah is a private server owned by a student. There's a lot of private servers in putrajaya campus back then. I owned one as well. But later down the years the owners get less and less and ntah is one of the few surviving ones. That is until he graduated of which wont be long anymore.

If there's any consolation, my bro graduated at 25 at the same time even the same convocation as me even though he is 3 years older and he's the eldest son. Heck even I am still planning to continue my studies. I understand your worries about your age, but being calculative about it is just going to make you panic and possibly the wrong decision. Try to calm down and look for other universities if you can.

As for UNITEN I'm not entirely sure about their intakes nowadays as during my time it's 2 full semester. These days it's 3. But if it is still the same, the next intake will be on July and that is certainly a long way still. You might really want to consider looking for other alternatives.

I graduated more than a year ago

Internet does suck but during registration/add drop, the server get very congested. Priorities are given to those who walk in to the ITMS or CoIT (I think).

UNITEN for education is a great place. It's hard but that's what's good about it. Overall, well, a lot of problem. You can browse a few pages back for them.

Aibob I'm not sure, but ntah I think he's suppose to be done already. Already on an extended sem last sem so can't imagine him staying any longer. I think la lol



By the way, for CGPA hunters, keeping it as close to as 3.00 is a good target but don't get too satisfied with the result. This is something I heard from an employer themselves; they actually be more cautious with excellent student as they're afraid they're too brain than actual work. So when in labs, make sure that you score as high as you can.

It's July and November.

Well kids these days are very reluctant to share their stuff. During my time servers are abundance. Almost if not everything can be obtained from private servers. Setting up is damn easy too. Search on HFS (HTTP File Server). The easiest and by far the most used by anyone who have common sense of sharing their stuff as well rather than just leeching.
