Set the computer name and that's all you need. Just remember to restart for it to take effects.

If you're looking on the actual server application, google on HFS. HTTP File Server. The easiest and simplest File Server sharing software. Easy to use, easy to configure.

IIRC some people said to me previously UNITEN is going to charge for electricity. I guess it's the meter for that.

Oh btw, so I manage to try the HFS software. N wow its really nice thing eh? Just open it up and ready to go. I tried all PC in my block and it works.

But other than my block cant access my PC. What I'm missing here?
And there is a Self Test run. Tried it but giving me error report about opening up a port to forward.

Back in my days, it's a rarity student actually cared about electricity. PC is on 24/7. Fans and lights never switched off even though no one in the house. Can't blame them having students with that kind of attitude.

Yup very simple. The self test is probably for internet usage. No need to mind it but as far as I know it should've work throughout UNITEN. You tried using IP or computer name?

This is kind of mystery to me since that in UG or ntah there also got IP address from Cendi apartment. I can open it normally.

Is it tru uniten got 3 semester in 1 year...if it tru im going to quit study from segi and apply for uniten for this may intake...bcoz my degree in segi are not fully accredited by mqa...its only Provisional.

Trisemester is only for foundation. Degrees are 2 and a half. 2 full semester and 1 short semester. Full semester 4 1/2 month (14 weeks). Short sem is half of that.

If it haven't change since I left then that should be correct

like this arr....im gonna finish late lo..aiyaaa...i thought got 3 semester per year because uniten dont have 4 month break semester right...like the IPTA.

Like I said, it's 2 and a half. After the full 2 semester there is a short semester you can take. Optional for Engineering (as in it's not the their course content) but mandatory to IT as some subjects are only offered during the short semester. If the subject is offered during that short sem, go ahead and take it. It will certainly make your holiday a lot shorter. Between full semester it's about 3 weeks holiday. Between short and full about a week.

According to Dr. Azree, UNITEN will apply the 3 full semesters in a year starting next enrollment. No more long holidays until the system stables then.. huh

then u should apply for uniten... but piece of advice, life in Uniten is quite hectic.
