i tot they offer an accommodation if needed coz they asked me if i need it. btw i was assigned to bukit mertajam site office and i am from johor. i dont mind going far from home for work & experience

got accommodation,but my parents want me to stay home and find somewhere nearby....have no choice

can anyone tell me that is it really less female taking mechanical engineering in UNITEN ? what about the lecturers? R they good? I heard that there is less non-bumi there is it true ?

i just got JPA scholarship n offered UNITEN for engineering course..
i wonder the study environment in UNITEN is better than UTAR or not...

yup less female but things will work out
the lecturer condition is like in school, they can't all be good since it depends on the student...some can adapt to the lecturer while some don't.
But they do have necessary certifications
and no, they're quite some non-bumi here.
idk bout comparing between UNITEN n UTAR but I guess both have advantages & disadvantages...
too bad we can't have 7-day trial to decide. LOL

hmmm...im still cant make a decision whether accept the jpa scholarship or not...bcoz i actually prefer chemical engineering (UNITEN does not have this course) ...mechanical engineering seems too difficult for me n i don really like machines all that....
if i take chem eng in UTAR i hav to maintain very excellent result or else the 100% fees waiver will b reduced or ceases =.= so i have to get loan from PTPTN ...-sigh-
if i take mechanical eng in UNITEN i worry that i cant cope with it even though i don hav to worry bout financial problems...
Could anyone giv me some constructive advices?

Well to tell you the truth, Mechanical Engineering and Chemical Engineering are quite different as 1 need you to be good in Chemistry and another 1 require you to be good in Physics. There is nothing concerning Chemistry in Mechanical. All about material, design, thermodynamics, fluids and etc.

Overthere , like pedalaman ady . No shopping complex. Got onli 1 hypermarket, fogot their name ady. But still , the place in the morning cold . veryy cold .
The FC so so onli . and hostel to campus very far .

You will demotivate him by saying that. There must be something good about Pahang campus.

Then how bout the lecturers and students there ?? Is UNITEN good for this financial course actually ?? LOL

i am a graduate from uniten 2009.

facilities ? no worry. it is pure eng uni.

some other uni doesnt even has proper instrument at all.
lecturer ? some good some average some terrible.

u cant depends 100% on lecturer. i have some coursemates who ponteng class but able to achieve DEAN.

dont go because of JPA scholarship. it will ruin your life. trust me.
make sure which field is of your interest.
