Yes, as long you're using all original tamiya parts and observe all the rules and regulations set.
BTW, anymore Item 15379 Offset tread tires left in TU?

Is there anywhere I can get the specs for the various Tamiya motors? RPM, torque, etc.

I have a few, including the Ultra Jet, but I haven't been 'playing' with them for a very LONG time. I kind of think of trying to 'recycle' some of the motors and use them for a robotics project.

this is the rule.... we follow these rules....
http://www.tamiya.com/english/mini4wd/regulation.htm

for single shaft:
torque: rev>automic>torque>hyperdash2>powerdash>sprint
rpm:torque>automic>rev>hyperdahs2>powerdash>sprint

double shaft:
torque: rev-pro>automic-pro>torque-pro>lightdash-pro>hyperdash-pro
rpm:torque-pro>automic-pro>rev-pro>lightdash-pro>hyperdash-pro
