racers mostly prefer the frp brakes.....jump not too far is because of the mass damper...mass damper's weight brings down the car after flying thru' the air. depends on how many dampers you put, Keith.  you just started so don't be upset..got to gain experience playing ms=pro all the time.

seen many improvements and most do stand up to the fight from other racers with the rule change also that i respect well done and bravo

congrats to the guys who takes these challenge positively but too bad there are some who did not and too bad for that

Many stocks arrived it has

bro if that is ur intention, may i suggest

1. no cutting of chasis
2. no frp cars
3. no modification of gears (all gears)
4. no ultra large diameter tyres
5. no bearing propeller shaft

i think with the standardizations of the above, im sure it will be competitive for the new guys.. hence, building the confidence of new guys in racing with the regulars..

Hi all,

-standard car race...tamiya rules apply... no gear mod and cutting on chassis...
-racer with 1 slot add 5g weight.
-racer with 2 slots add another 5g weight.

-we can differentiate racers with slot and non-slot, weight will be added before race started by officer...
-weight will be stick on outside the cover...or top of the car which can show clearly weight has been added.

-cover with weight can be ready by TU... so all racers with slot should use the same weighted plastic cover....

-non-slot racer allowed to use any cover.

racer with 1 slot, will be recognized by red ribbon.
racer with 2 slots, will be recognized by blue ribbon.

i hope this will help... and it's more clear to has the clear plans...

anyway, racers has to be integrity and honest...

My humble suggestion for speed race
Handicap for regulars: minimum ground clearance increase to 5mm
Track set with "reasonable" lane change (up to David)
