GamersGate is almost similar to how Steam works, in the sense that you need to create an account & download your games that are attached to that said account. The difference (might be pros to some & cons to some) is the absence of a game client.

1 of the pros would be no more headache about logging into the client in order to play the game like what many are complaining in the Steam thread.

Cons would be no chatting medium & as such, you're much more isolated compared to Steam. You can say that communication is much more essential in Steam since games like L4D2 & TF2 which are hosted by Steam itself require teamwork.

The NFS Shift promotion is for 1 day only so do drop me a SMS if you don't see me online ya? smile.gif

Thanks for the feedback. It really means a lot to me. smile.gif

I know Hari Raya Aidilfitri is just around the corner but if you have time, do check this thread of mine in the evening for the next few days as I'll be updating the GamersGate's EA Week promotion on a daily basis. Who knows, there may be some games that you've had your eyes on for quite some time. smile.gif

Last but not least, maaf zahir dan batin. notworthy.gif

Thanks talexeh, for helping me purchase Civ 5 Deluxe Edition biggrin.gif

Very patient seller, we hit a bit of a road bump and he stuck with my deal for almost an hour. Really appreciate that and hopefully we'll have more deals in the future biggrin.gif

Many thanks for sticking with me in overcoming the obstacle together. I'm sure many others would have gave up or pissed off due to my persistency. sweat.gif

An hour? Seriously, that's nothing as long as we managed to achieve a win-win scenario at the end of the day. icon_rolleyes.gif

Yup! Unlike the old beta site, the new GOG.com has the gift function implemented so it's no longer as troublesome as it was in the past where I've to request for potential buyers' username & password to get them their favourite games from GOG. smile.gif

And ooh... I like your avatar! It's been some years since I last played Dungeon Keeper; kinda miss the Mistress' sadistic laughter. wub.gif

Unfortunately, most of them don't. These games are released as they were in the past where most - if not all - monitors were of the 4:3 resolution. sad.gif

However, there is a pretty active modding community that strives to come up with widescreen support. It's just a matter of checking around before you purchase a game & see if you're lucky enough to have someone doing something about it. smile.gif An example would be this site: http://www.gibberlings3.net/widescreen/
