ya , just need to be careful its not from a website in china or from those ebay sellers from china also.. radical also lots of fake these days..
*
Dear Sungami, since u already bought, then the only way to make sure is to check it out whether its fake or not lor....heres how u can check

For fake, the buttcap has nothing printed on it and a poorly placed Head sticker. usually the outer butt will be printed with grip size and some numbers. Another, when removed the base grip, there was no pallet (yellow stuff) and just bare graphite with some Chinese printing on it. good luck:)

ya basically dont need to manage, just whack and adjust to the new racket..
hehe.. its fun la since we're just recreational players.. smile.gif
*
so tiangkim, theres your answer:)

besides, if stroke is proper, anyone can actually play with all racquets, just that you may need more effort or risk being injured when playing competition lor:)

ive heard some that can beat the hell out of their competition with any racquets the guys throw at him......some even dare to say that play with kids racquet can kautim any victim......not sure how true it is heheh

I guess changing racquet between games is common as recreational players like us as i guess we play for the love of racquet and the game, and not for competition which required more standardised equipment due to the dynamic environment required to compete:)

haaha... i dont buy because of that.... been using 6.1 team for years... since n-code, k factor now into blx
*
if ure a racquet collector then just buy lor...why wait:) blx is a good racquet, ive tried the 95s not bad not bad....

if ure not a raccquet collector then i suggest u sell all your racquets (reasonably cheap price) to fund for new blx

do u know? Pls share. Agree with Prae on the bevel which is important to guide our fh, bh, serve and volley grip position.

For me, I prefer those cushion grip with foam layer + wilson pro grip.  When hold harder, more comfortable....Maybe I dont suit leather but just for the sake of trying... kev can get quite good price...

wilson pro overgrip very nice.... pro soft I tak suka langsung....

i m getting pro overgrip rm15/3pcs pack...

Added on September 9, 2010, 11:05 pmbro kev, I m not going tmr neither sat.... maybe sunday...

if u wanna come to pick up, maybe fri or sunday.... i live in bdr puteri puchong... call me 1st dude....

its 6.47am and its raining at my place.....not sure sunway how.....

my opinion on leather grip vs softer pvc or rubber grip is

Leather: its hard, durable, and gives more control in terms of racquet holding as the material will not flex in your hand, it is like holding the grip from the base but with a grip over it (u know, rubber tend to have cushion space when compress, that leaves a little space for flex movement but not leather)

PVC with inner leather: softer, but still hard enough for those who have soft skinned palm, especially after a long lay off from tennis but still require some holding control.

Rubber: Soft and comfortable, have room for flex movement due to the cushion compression space.

ok la, my sifu prae already scold me, so let me try to point you to the right direction, it may or may not work as ive never seen you play before so all the best.

slow: footwork, how to learn? since we will not see each other anytime soon, youtube is the best bet at the moment....before learning the technique of footwork, you can also try building your fitness and leg muscle first, it helps alot in increasing your response as you put it.

spectacles: dont worry, ive got friends who wear spec play davis cup for msia. I also wear spec play at times, tipsarevic also wear spec and play, so dont worry about it if u do

thats all i can say, but do ask around more, im sure some people will be more than willing to teach.
