This one depends on you leh, its time to change shoe when you feel the shoe has lost its 'comfort ability', you know when the next day you wake up, and your feet aches/hurts or when the sole has worn out, got hole, etc.
Some people can get away with chaperang shoe, unfortunately I am not one of them :-( I have quite flat feet so I have to get a shoe that works great, and add some arch supports to them.
Queensway is a good idea, I have heard rackets like Wilson & Babolat are cheaper in Malaysia though, shoe depends on your luck if got sale Singapore cheaper, have fun shopping!
*
Chap Helang Shoe can do for those who play light tennis 15 minutes and chat 1 hour once a week type, but once you're into competitive or frequent play, you can invest in a well researched and developed tennis shoe (its all worth it) as I was a victim of Chap Helang spraining my ankle.

If budget is a concern, you can opt for wilson although they dont hold up if you're an aggressive player, but good for people who is in transition of playing light to a more frequent play tennis player

As for me, ive a pair of wilson, nike and adidas, and i think the nicest to wear is still adidas in terms of support, cushion level and evergreen design.

just buy whatever falls within ur budget from reputable brand, no need read review all as at the end of the day its your leg that will decide. reviewer might have different types of legs you have, correct? the more you read, the more headache you get........as previously im a frequent reader of tennis review, game review, gadget review, all sort of review......if the review are good, but u cannot afford also no point la........

Unkle... For Fed's coming in, it pays off not much, Lady Luck was on his side, and I was glad to feel "LUCK" was by his side. Kesian Berdych, but I don't like him, he's too cocky. Can't stand him. He even got the crowd against him.
Fed used to pawn tall and big hitters but after Wimby, I felt that his arch-opponent might be bombarding towers. His accuracy has gone down, stamina obviously... Anyway, he's adjusting his game to his age, slowly bits by bits perhaps, he comes in more than Wimby, drop more than slicing(he might noticed slice doesn't work that much against Berdych in Wimby), backhand a bit more consistent(still a lot of frame-shots just now).

Added on August 14, 2010, 11:20 amBtw, unkle, use live-streaming to watch lar. I never have Astro. =(

Apologies, if i can debate over this, no harm intended, just trying to clear my curiosity on your comment:

well, fed coming in indeed pays off especially during the most crucial moment, there is one game at deuce for few times, then at advantage, second serve, he came it and finish it.....with that from being down, he was up......if that does not pay off, then i dunno what will

at 7-6 third set, yeah he is lucky ure rite, but he did not rely on his luck too much, he did try alot of things just to win and that is not luck, that is sheer gut, mental power and skill.......

He is not adjusting all to his age, he is adjusting to the ever changing opponent style through all those new shots of his to see what works and what doesnt, whatever does not work now does not mean it can never be improvise, remember what he say before the tournament, everything is in testing stage, by testing and still winning it, you go try it lor see what you get.

Frame shot normal for this match la, under pressure, nearly lost, he is still human with feelings......

Regards

just have the guts to peel, scrape and dig out the weights from my radical which was modded by previous, previous owner.....the weight is like a bullet shown in the pic, couple with used grip and some sort of a industrial glue to it.......finally digged out from the butt of my racquet handle....back to ori...yay!

user posted image

but at the end, both my racquet without string and same main grip, both head weight is different.....wTF! even the grip feels different....whats the point of getting the same racquet when same model with same stuff cannot jive

Yeah, from the way Murray's playing, I fancy him to take down Roger in the finals.

His serve is impressive and forehand penetrating.
Previously these 2 was no weapon but he relied more on his speed, fitness and intelligent shot selections.

Add these 2, Murray is really a dangerous player. Job well done too for Alex Corretja.
*
i seldom see him play like that actually, most of his shots are working for him......maybe its just luck, maybe its his new found skill, lets see how both Fed and Murray fare in the finals....its going to be good!

*
there is one LYN wanted to let go his HEAD racquet bag, will ask him for you. let u know later......

I have to admit, Murray played very well in this tournament, His serve is much much more aggressive, he just ran the ball back at every angle.....he deserves to win...oh well, Fed is back to number 2 now. Great tournament
