This one depends on you leh, its time to change shoe when you feel the shoe has lost its 'comfort ability', you know when the next day you wake up, and your feet aches/hurts or when the sole has worn out, got hole, etc.
Some people can get away with chaperang shoe, unfortunately I am not one of them :-( I have quite flat feet so I have to get a shoe that works great, and add some arch supports to them.
Queensway is a good idea, I have heard rackets like Wilson & Babolat are cheaper in Malaysia though, shoe depends on your luck if got sale Singapore cheaper, have fun shopping!
Chap Helang Shoe can do for those who play light tennis 15 minutes and chat 1 hour once a week type, but once you're into competitive or frequent play, you can invest in a well researched and developed tennis shoe (its all worth it) as I was a victim of Chap Helang spraining my ankle.
If budget is a concern, you can opt for wilson although they dont hold up if you're an aggressive player, but good for people who is in transition of playing light to a more frequent play tennis player
As for me, ive a pair of wilson, nike and adidas, and i think the nicest to wear is still adidas in terms of support, cushion level and evergreen design.
just buy whatever falls within ur budget from reputable brand, no need read review all as at the end of the day its your leg that will decide. reviewer might have different types of legs you have, correct? the more you read, the more headache you get........as previously im a frequent reader of tennis review, game review, gadget review, all sort of review......if the review are good, but u cannot afford also no point la........
