I don't see any reason for a men to be hating to use a perfume unless he doesn't like the smell.

In your case, maybe he just treasures it too much. Some people are like that. Only use them when they have any special occasion.

Recently I went to a shop and saw this perfume. Very nice smell. drool.gif

2 yrs ago my gf bought me a bottle of Burberry Brit for Men for xmas and since then i have amassed a collection of 80+ (n counting) bottles of perfume LOL. My gf can't stand my hobby anymore haha. My collection I think surpasses that of the average female.

So yes for me as a guy perfume really really matters. I never leave home without having some kind of fragrance on biggrin.gif

My hubby doesnt like to use any perfume. Never does at all. He doesnt have B.O, he doesnt have any bad smell. Its just that he doesnt like to wear perfume. I guess some guys are like that? They like their natural smell i guess....
Why dont you just ask him straight up? better than wondering right?

owh.. so, now from what i understand from those responses, it shows that i need to go together with him to bought a perfume.. is it? it is more reliable rite? rather than i just simply bought for him.. smile.gif..

anyway, thanks for the point. one more, can someone share with me, what is your most favorite perfume you ever found in your life??

I think it would be best if u went along with him to buy. Make sure the perfume he choses is something both of u really like.

I don't have one single perfume that I can truly admit I like. This month I may like Dior Fahrenheit for example but next month I may prefer Kenzo Power. That's why I have 80 + bottles haha.

But what I can do is compile a top 5 list of frags I like at the moment (in no particular order).

- YSL Rive Gauche
- Guerlain Heritage
- CK Be
- Versace The Dreamer
- Terre d'Hermes

Best of Luck !

I think its better for guys to not put on perfume. Even though it does attract attention, but I'd rather not smell the guy from afar LOL
Perfume should be personal. And subtle.

With guys, sometimes I think they over-do it =P

My latest favourite scent is Orange Blossom from Jo Malone. Though it is just cologne but its very lasting...most importantly the scent is very uplifting and natural smile.gif

Bought it from Singapore at SGD95 for 30ml. Check out http://www.jomalone.co.uk/products/3551/Fr...gnes/index.tmpl for details.

My question is:-
(1) Did your BF using a deodorant??
(2) Did your BF have his own perfume before??

If NO; then he is not concerned for his body smell and not interested at all for the perfume.

If YES; then there must be something wrong with the smell of the perfume that you bought it to him. Some men like the smell of their perfume strong and rough (like HUGO ENERGIZE) but some men like light smell (like ISSEY MIYAKE FOR MEN).

MY SUGGESTION IS YOU ASK YOUR BF FIRST WHAT KIND OF PERFUME HE LIKES A LOT. IF CAN BRING HIM TO THE STORE AND PERSUADE HIM WHAT BRAND HE MOSTLY LIKES. THEN FORM THERE YOU CAN GIVE HIM A SURPRISE FOR PERFUME GIFTS.

As for me; as if it outdated, I prefer CK ESCAPE, RALPH LAUREN POLO DOUBLE BLACK and DAVIDOFF ECHO.

GUD LUCK.

after shave or a nice clinical face wash with toner is good enough. Clean hair and body with mild shampoo/shower gel scent is good enough. men should have very subtle scent. Less is more.

perfume smell differently for different people..
so U must at least test it on that person.. then U know if its good or not..

maybe he try it already.. but later findout it was not his kind of perfume..

for perfume,i would recommend BODY SHOP for light and longer lasting smell.however..better finish it all fast cos the body shop parfume really easy to be out of smell.
eventhough the bottle still got 70%,when u spray.no smell.u can just feel cold cos of alcohol in the perfume.thats all,ur rm80 fly like that.

my personal, the one that i find suitable with me right now is ADIDAS SPORT-red colour one.i always use daily.its cheap, smell good.

for something special..like meeting my girl,dinner,night activities,i used MONT BLANC - HOMME EXCEPTIONALE.this strong.bold smell.be careful.good for one who has B.O.

I think its nice though not necessary. My ex really loved the smell of my perfume so i would use it whenever i meet her, i too love her smell, pure ecstasy tongue.gif

Tip: don't get those cheap perfumes, you can really "smell" the cheapness.

With the current exchange rate, it’s more costly to buy Jo Malone in Singapore and Thailand.

It’s RM 265.00 in Malaysia...and RM 210.00 in Doha......and extra 20% discount (RM 168.00) for airline staff in Doha so I always ask my sister to buy in Doha whenever she return from there.
