When you open your GamersGate now, does it show the UK or US flag? If you're currently in Malaysia, it should show you the UK flag & list you all the games that are listed in the UK / ROW region only.

Hmm... guess I'm wrong then. I tinkered around by logging in with US proxy & the flag changed to US flag. When the proxy was switched off, it's back to UK flag. There's no other way to change the flag to US flag other than the proxy / VPN. I wonder how did you guys manage to log into the US GamersGate without any effort.

The flag is an indicator on the regional portal that you're accessing. If it's a US flag, it'll show you the promotions that are made available for the US region & the same applies to UK flag.

I guess GamersGate must have removed the region labels on all accounts during the transition last night. Try to use VPN / proxy & you should be able to get the US price again.

The Sims series have always been region-locked to the US. As such, GG is providing you alternative ways to obtain the game, though at higher price. There are a couple games out there with the same fate & do keep in mind that the region restriction comes from the publishers / developers, not the digital distributors themselves.

Oh my... looks like the new interface is still buggy.

The game will not come up in the search for our region. Tried to search for it with US proxy & true enough, it appeared in the search. However, I think the age verification thingy is bugged therefore I can't view the game page. Submitted a ticket to GG.

It's only available in the US region but funny thing is, after inputting the date of birth, it says the game is not available.

The reason why I said that it's available in the US region is due to the fact that the game will not appear under Search result for our region but it'll appear if I switched on the proxy.

Hmm... if that's the case, may I know if you can view the game page after inputting your date of birth?
