Erm... not sure if this is what you're asking but any game that you've purchased can be played anywhere, even though the game is region-locked in the first place.

Region lock is meant to hamper your capability to buy the game in the first place, not to play the game. If you somehow were able to get someone from the approved region to buy you the game, then you'll be able to download & play the game.

Erm... I used proxy to get that price. It's doable for GamersGate; even a free Hotspot Shield works.

Nope, you got re-routed to the UK region instead.

Proxy is only required if you want certain games with certain discounts, for example, kianweic's case with Bulletstorm. Once you've got the game in your GamersGate profile, no proxy is required to download the file content. The region block is only applicable during the purchase phase.
