QUOTE(fees_88 @ Jun 27 2010, 09:43 AM) does any1 know how to delete shorcuts on home screen? help me... and how to play flash player on the video online? where to upgrade adobe flash player? to delete the shortcut, just press and hold on your widget (with your finger ofc) then drag it to the bin on the navigation bar. Not played with flash, can't help you with that

just to chip in ... i flashed with GOT asian version, the phone went restarted and android booted up fine. No issues with android. Oh btw the SBF from GOT is already rooted, you dont have to root it again.
Only thing i noticed is that if i try to apply GOT theme, my phone will not boot pass the M. I had to do a nandroid recover.

QUOTE(jansonChan @ Oct 18 2010, 08:10 AM) i flash the G.O.T 2.2.1 RETAIL EUROPE (RTEU) for my milestone (malaysia set), so far so good. Fast and stable, stock CPU speed already over take Galaxy S..... Stock CPU is at 500Mhz. that pawns SGS? nice ... just wondering if i continually run my milestone at 1Ghz will it eventually fry my phone? I'm going to flash my MS tonight ....

QUOTE(evolutionize @ Dec 8 2010, 09:53 AM) hey milestone owners, my friend recently dropped her MS on the road, now the housing is kinda bumped up. been looking for a replacement housing to do it. can to share places or sites to get the housing something like this site: http://www.globaldirectparts.com/Motorola-.../mot1032900.htmsame here. I chipped my phone when it fell down on the road. Would be great if someone could share

Does anyone know if it is possible to be connected to the internet on MS with data cable connected to an Internet ready laptop? (no data plan enabled on phone)
I believe teethering enables laptop to be connected to the net with MS acting as a modem. Is it possible to have the reverse?

[quote=xxboxx,Jan 17 2011, 09:39 AM] you can use wifi from your MS to connect to your laptop. use Connectify to make your laptop become router.
Not sure if i understand you correctly. here's my situation, i dont have a data plan enabled on my MS. I want to access the internet at the office but security restrictions prohibits me to do so. Is it possibly for me to connect via USB to my laptop (already connected to company network) to be connected to the internet. It is just like a bridging only with a USB rather than a network cable. Is that what connectify allows me to do?
Added on January 17, 2011, 10:57 amah i think connectify works ... emulating a hotspot just that it is wireless. actually it would be better if i can get it via USB, so the network admins will not see the hotspot

hi all, I've finally decided to upgrade to leaked APAC or Cyanogen 7 but I'm not exactly sure how to proceed. I am currently running on old GOT before 2.2 even came up. Do i have to revert back to the stock version (original) before upgrading to APAC or Cyanogen? If yes, how can i revert back? I cant seem to download the SBF from moto website - looks like it has been taken down. Will this guide posted by one of our forumers work? http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1461907/+1640#Also i intend to start everything from scratch. no apps nothing ... QUOTE(xxboxx @ Mar 18 2011, 01:24 AM) thanks. must be hard. actually, you should just install shootme for capture screen. anyways, saw your post that yours is UK set, means your update is with 5.26.0 kernel. APAC set should be with 5.26.4 kernel, much newer kernel. dunno is it better or not. and there's even Arab sbf with 5.27.2 kernel, that said to be less buggy. here's the file: http://www.mediafire.com/?s015asyo15f0cdvanyone with froyo can use this. just copy the zip file to OpenRecovery > Updates folder. then run this updates to have this kernel copied to your Milestone. @treeantz you need to factory reset before it can start. and to go into OR, you need to flash the Vulnerable Recovery hack again. whats your bootloader version? Thanks for the input. my bootloader is 90.78. I flashed the SBF from http://and-developers.com/sbf:milestone#service_version2 but still no go. Any help on this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Added on March 18, 2011, 12:37 pmalso i felt that the APAC leak has much better battery life. I was using the one without MotoApps. The current one drains quite a bit. QUOTE(xxboxx @ Mar 18 2011, 06:35 PM) use this sbf: http://www.mediafire.com/?s015asyo15f0cdvthis will alter your bootloader so you can boot OR do you always browsing the internet for like half an hour or more? got encounter phone restart itself? i always encounter restart when using 5.26.0 kernel. only need flash vulnerable recovery once then no need flash anymore. the bootloader will stay the same. if not mistaken only if update over the air, after flash the vulnerable recovery, when restart the bootloader will revert back. Hi xxboxx, so i can just flash like that? no other changes required? Thanks.

the froyo i upgraded was not very stable too. performance was sluggish and battery life was much shorter. I went back to sileshn's moto apac leak without moto apps. that was much better.
BTW saw in XDA forums, MS been cracked. guess we can expect some real roms coming in soon.
