Not to worry if you haven't heard ot Altek Corp before because the company focuses on OEM digital camera R&D and manufacturing. They are the largest digital camera original design manufacturer (ODM) in the world. Their products are usually rebranded so they remain relatively unknown to end-users.

Hope they release to Singapore and Malaysia.
I expect the 14MP camera to be of great quality, probably even better than the N8's 12 MP camera, but a pity there is not video call camera.

Altek is specialised in manufacturing high quality cameras, Leo will be better than N8's 12MP for sure. The 3x optical zoom and it's Xenon flash are more tempting... A point-and-shoot camera combine with a smartphone.
We do not use video conferencing so often in Malaysia yet. So i don't think it will be a big problem. smile.gif

Unfortunately, I do know a few people who definitely need the video call feature to chat with their loved ones. In fact they need it more than a nice camera.

It does not. I think there's still a lot of people will want it because of the great camera. It's even greater than the N8...
Maybe Altek will include the front camera in the future just like iPhone... smile.gif

When i viewed the video, which is the pre launched model one, there's still no Smile detection and plus one more feature i can't remember..
And there's also some laggy when using phone app.. maybe it's pre one right..
Well, wait for the final one.. Don't be like X10, at last using Donut only instead Android 2.0 like their testing model.. sad.gif sad.gif

That we'll need to wait till Altek release the phone but I personally think they won't be too far away from Android...

Depends on what kind of functions you're seeking. If you're those who likes to take photo, why not Altek?? smile.gif
