QUOTE(C-Note @ Jun 18 2010, 01:19 AM) Raw egg yolk? salmonella la bro Well, that's how people do caesar salad, to give the creamier and heavier texture. Well, for kiasi people, some prefer to fast boil it around 30-45 second first before using it.

QUOTE(panda00 @ Jun 20 2010, 02:17 AM) er i was saying homemade or fresh mayonaise, i use raw egg to make it. if for caesars, thread starter could just get ready-made one, save the hassle of improvising ? hm...... u know, the top-notch restaurants here prefer free range eggs (laid and then up in the shelves/markets for sale)......i know there's a risk, yet ppl would go that far, to just get the full flavour. But taste wise = Yeah, raw egg are one of the ingredient to make mayo. Agree with you, all most of the fine dining restaurant make their own mayo. Yeah the taste is surely better. It got me addicted when I first time tasted Caesar Salad.
