name of that game would be Link's Awakening ? the enhanced version of it on GB Color was excellent !

QUOTE(andrewcha @ Nov 17 2011, 12:42 AM)
The classic opening song? Like in every Zelda also got that 1? If not mistaken the 1 that I always remember is the one that I borrow from my friend last time play on GB. Not A Link to the Past. That story is to collect the music instrument in 5 dungeon then unlock the last dungeon. That is the only game that I learn that you can hook on the chicken to cross a longkang LOL.

according to Nintendo, Skyward Sword takes place at the very beginning of the zelda timeline.

it will be the prequel to all the other games covering the origins of the Master Sword and how Hyrule came about itself !

well put, exactly my thoughts but was never able to explain it like that

i'm a fan of Gon Freaks now rclxms.gif

QUOTE(Gon Freaks @ Nov 23 2011, 09:36 AM)
no..you are getting it wrong.

story was never the main intention for zelda creation.

Miyamoto san tell this. He doesnt freaking care about the story. He just want to create gameplay.

What he meant by the story guide book is that, the gameplay element will involve a certain story element which is related to a specific timeline.

the guide book was never meant for us (gamers) but for his reference on what element should the next zelda be about..

He doesnt mind us not understanding the story line..

and like i said before, the timeline is for fans who like these elements of where and when the game would took place in the next zelda.

check out the link.

well, opinions are what they are ... so definitely everyone has their say.

but when you see Skyward Sword being described like how it is supposed to be "Skyrim Sword" ... dunno what else to say ...

QUOTE(Kyoyagami @ Nov 23 2011, 10:21 AM)
His OTHER HUGE MEGA GAME is also like that what. laugh.gif

Because if you were to put those games in a storyline, you might as well say they happen in a short span of a year for both Mario and Link to be saving both peach and Zelda respectively.

In a way, the story the fits the game it is in. Anyone can come and say that you've been playing the same old stuff for the past 25 and 26 years.

And you can still reply to them you're not bored of it at all. biggrin.gif

it's not a rumour, the reason will become apparent in this game ...

about 2hrs (depending on person i guess) into the game there will be a scene which will surely resonate with all Zelda fans.

oh well, i think everyone should play the game 1st then see if their opinion will change *LOL*

QUOTE(Gon Freaks @ Nov 23 2011, 12:16 PM)
hmm you i think you are thinking it wrongly. There is a reason why the names of the main characters are the same and it seems that rumors saying that LOZ:SS will tell you the reason why.

it's related to things at the end of the game ... so i can't really be too specific ... or else it will be spoilers.

anyway, most of you here will be playing it some time soon right ? so let's see if anyone else feels the same when they get to the end of the game biggrin.gif

btw, it should have been Mattel (and not Marvel) that i was referring to *sorry*

QUOTE(SWATwolf @ Nov 28 2011, 03:42 PM)
Capcom and marvel? waaaaaaaaaad? tongue.gif
*

Added on November 28, 2011, 6:27 pmactually, come to think of it ... the final battle may just have been where Monolith-soft contributed !

kinda "out of the world" .. just like all their RPG final boss and storylines rolleyes.gif

QUOTE(lsn @ Nov 28 2011, 04:23 PM)
why capcom and marvel? you think tat is minish cap shocking.gif

suprisely got monolith soft as co-developer
*

Added on November 28, 2011, 6:34 pmit was actually a subsidiary of Capcom which they acquired and subsequent dissolved in 2007 *sad*

name of developer was Flagship Co Ltd. those 2 were my favourite Zelda titles on portable ... although Link's Awakening DX was also top notch !

QUOTE(lsn @ Nov 28 2011, 05:23 PM)
oracle of season/ages co-develop by capcom too

it might be due to the connector between nunchuk and wiimote being "pulled" (mostly due to excitement during intense gameplay sequences *LOL*)

sometimes this is registered like a sudden disconnection/re-connection and when the system attempts to re-calibrate during "re-connection" you probably still moving the control stick and buttons. it's easy to test ... just unplug and re-plug in the connector without moving anything else. if that solves the issue, then that's basically the problem.

i have had no problems with the sword controls in this game watsover. only thing which can be considered issue or need calibration once in a while is when aiming bcos it doesn't use the sensor bar.

QUOTE(Kamina51 @ Nov 28 2011, 09:49 PM)
Am I the only one having like problems like I sorta have to do constant recalibration >< to make slash angle proper
and I think something's wrong with my nunchuck, sometimes it moves to a direction on its own.....

btw, do you guys play using HD TV?

note to everyone BEFORE they hit the link ... it will contain spoilers to the final set of quest towards the end of the game !

anyway, i did the recommended quest to do last (in order to avoid the glitch purportedly) as my 2nd area ... so i can confirm it's not just purely related to the sequence. that is assuming this glitch is true ...

anyway, i guess the safest way to "avoid" this if u believe it happens ... is to follow the advice and do that particular quest last.

hv to spoil a little bit or else u might not even know which part of the game specifically this relates to blink.gif

during the quest for the 3 parts of the "Song of the Hero" ... complete both the Water (Faron) and Fire (Eldin) Dragon's sections of the Song of the Hero BEFORE attempting the Thunder Dragon's part of the song.

according to Nintendo it's not actually the sequence that is causing the glitch but there will be more spoilers if the cause is described in more detail. so the above recommendation is most generic possible way.

QUOTE(juwels @ Dec 10 2011, 01:40 PM)
without spoilers.....can tell how to avoid glitch?  unsure.gif
