I had groin pull due to playing badminton sometimes last year. I was told to rest for 2 months by my GP. I rested for 3 months, then went for a game after that and realised that the pain is still there!!!
It didnt help that I spent a week travelling after the relapse. As you know, travel requires walking but I couldnt last more than half an hour on my legs however I pushed on till it it affected my hip bone/waist area (at the back). And the only thing that I put on it is the Hisamitsu Salonpas Air Spray... I know my bad.
The pain is a real b**** and I still have it till now...The pain is located right in between where the thigh meets the pubic area (only right leg affected)... These days, I'd be able to walk normally for 5 minutes before I could feel the slow onset of dull pain at first, the leg feels like locked. I've tried to shorten my strides. Didn't work. I tried to kill the pain by taking Ibuprofen while walking - it masked the pain at the actual location, then the pain travels to my knee, and I'd feel the leg muscle become strained so I gotta waddle like a duck!
Anyone who has used the service of good and honest Osteopath in KL area, do recommend. (No chiropractor please). Thanks.
Osteopaths? you'll get those in US, not Malaysia. Find yourself an Orthopedic specialist/surgeon.... and of course NO CHIROPRACTORS.It didnt help that I spent a week travelling after the relapse.
