hi all,

this is a good thread, but i would like to ask if anyone knows the proper way to dispose energy saving bulb?
i have a couple of them kept in my home as i'm not sure how to dispose them. Pls help advise.

for batteries, it is never a problem for me as my company has a big thrash can for batteries only...so i always collect and dispose at my company...

for plastic bags, i have since minimized the use, in penang, we don't use plastic bags anymore, we use recycle bags...

but if i really need...i'll buy from Tesco plastic bags because they are bio degradable...

may i know where is the nearest recycling station you mean that accepts energy saving bulb? retailer like Philips and Osrams do take back?
i'm not aware of that....

found out that some places collecting batteries, got ppl also throw the energy saving bulb there in the same thrash bin...

hmm..not sure if the people who recycle will actually accept the bulb or they will just separate them out and throw to normal rubbish area as well....
